"I've been playing guitar for over fourty years and I must say that TablEdit is one of the best programs for for learning songs at your own pace.You can take a midi guitar song,import it and have it write the tabulature for it. You can print out the tabs and BAM! It's there right in front of you to start learning to play the song. This program is fantastic for learning those finger picking songs that are so mysterious to figure out.I only wish that this program was around when I started playing guitar."

"I was first introduced to TablEdit by one of my students (I was using another tab program at the time). At first, TablEdit looked a little more confusing to use... so I was afraid to switch. Later, I was submitting tabs to Banjo Newsletter and Ian Perry (an editor with the magazine and good friend) told me that TablEdit was what he used in transcribing for Bela Fleck and Tony Trischka. At Ian's suggestion I decided to give it a try. Boy was I wrong! TablEdit was not only easier to use, but much more flexible that what I had been using. As a professional banjo teacher (for over 20 years) TablEdit has come in handy many times to make tabs for students, submit to magazines and even email to players around the world! Being able to listen to the midi files is also great for proofing the tabs (I can locate my mistakes much faster by listening than by proofreading)."

"As a musician I have found TablEdit to be quick and easy to learn to use. It has proved to be a very feedable tool for getting notes on to paper and into MIDI format. It is the only program I know of that I can convert ABC files to notation and then save as MIDI. TablEdit is very good value for your money. Customer service is excellent, I ask that C-clef be added so I could make sheet music for Viola and my request was added. The range of instruments that TablEdit emulates is great. The sound of the each instrument is very good, when I choose Viola I get Viola sound not just a low voice Violin. The flexibility and ease of configuration is very good."
